Charges, Rates, Payment Plans & Information

Travel Charge Policy

Appointments are subject to a minimal travel charge to cover travel costs. The travel charge is shared between multiple clients for bookings at the same location with consecutive appointment times.

Travel Charge Rates

Charges based on the distance from the business address (BN8) to the client:

  • Within 5-mile radius: £5
  • Between 5 and 10-mile radius: £10
  • Between 10 and 15-mile radius: £15
  • Between 15 and 20-mile radius: £20
  • Between 20 and 25-mile radius: £25
    For distances outside the 25-mile radius, please contact us to discuss.

Multiple Booking Discount

A 10% discount per treatment is applied when treating four or more equine or canine patients at the same location with consecutive appointment times. Travel charges still apply.

Monthly Payment Plans

Monthly payment plans allow for the cost of a predetermined number of treatments to be distributed over several months through direct debit. Each plan is customised to the needs of the owner and the animal. Please contact us to discuss options.

Veterinary Consent Requirement

Legal Requirement for Veterinary Consent

Animal chiropractic treatment is regulated under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and Veterinary Surgery Exemptions Order 2015. A completed veterinary consent form is required before initiating any treatment.

Payment Information

Payment Methods

Payments can be made by BACS or cash. Full payment is required before or on the appointment day unless a finance agreement is in place.

Insurance Claims

Treatment must be paid in full before an invoice and receipt are issued for insurance claims. A referral letter from the veterinarian is required for treatments eligible for insurance coverage.

Appointment Cancellations and Missed Appointments

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations or rescheduling require 48 hours’ notice. Failure to provide 48 hours’ notice will incur a £20 cancellation fee.

Missed Appointments

If appointments are missed, the full treatment price and associated travel charges will still apply.

Refusal of Treatment

Right to Refuse Treatment

The practitioner reserves the right to refuse treatment due to health concerns, the need for further veterinary intervention, or unsafe circumstances. An assessment fee of £20 and associated travel charges will still apply.
